Harmony has SINCE spent the last 15+ years working in the top-end of the contemporary fine art commercial sector, located between LONDON AND ZURICH.
First at an international auction house and then launching a top advisory firm with a special focus on championing the careers of emerging artists, expanding private collections of emerging and blue-chip contemporary art, curating exhibitions and organising high-profile gala ART auctions FOR CHARITY.
SINCE GRADUATING WITH A JOINT DEGREE IN FINE ART WITH HISTORY OF ART AND ARCHITECTURE IN 2009, Harmony began her career at the auction house Phillips DE PURY advising private collections and handling auction sales, consignments AND EXHIBITIONS across specialist departments including Contemporary Art, Photography and Design ALONGSIDE SIMON AND MICHAELA DE PURY.
In 2013, harmony MOVED to launch a new art advisory business, de pury, managing private treaty transactions OF ART WORK, acquisitions, exhibitions, auctions, valuations and collection management, working closely with private collectors, corporates, foundations, museums and gallery owners, travelling GLOBALLY to work on curatorial projects with emerging and blue-chip artists, architects, collectors, hotel firms and real-estate developers.
Harmony has completed successful curatorial EXHIBITIONS and auctions in London, New York, Hong Kong, Dallas, Los Angeles, France, Monaco, Basel, Turkey, Azerbaijan and Dubai.
These initiatives were some of the first to exhibit a number of artists who have gone on to earn significant accolades and market attention.
FROM 2015 - 2020, Harmony completed 2 extensive hotel projects working with Simon de Pury, identifying and selecting over 30 emerging artists to commission over 150 ORIGINAL artworks.
For 7 years, Harmony directed the successful online auction business, de Pury Ltd, partnering with charities including amfAR, Elton John AIDS Foundation, Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation, MTV Staying Alive, Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, UNAIDS, Fondation Beyeler and Unicef, consigning and selling artworks FROM ARTISTS at auction, advising and bidding for HNW clients, running the online bidding platform and handling all communication for the business.
harmony has helped to raise over USD 250 million for charity in online and gala art auctions during this time.
