Ginger and Paul Bauer are a husband and wife team from Chatham County, NC. Discarded metal objects have formed the basis
of their art work over the past five years. They appreciate the original beauty of each of their found objects and hope that
they can extend that beauty into a unique and new creation.
Carbon offsets are purchased from NC Greenpower to compensate for the energy used to fabricate and exhibit each of Paul
and Ginger's pieces of art. They hope to promote this idea to other artists, thereby helping all art become more "earth
friendly."
"RE:eVALUation" is a shaker style grandfather clock made of found objects exclusively for the Scrapel Hill Art
Show at University Mall. It came in first place based on public votes, and is now available at Turning Point Gallery.
